Camp-Land has been one of the top Indiana RV dealers since 1961. In those days, a dealer purchased a small camping trailer in a crate and assembled it before it could be sold. At the beginning, three were purchased with the idea that the sale of two would help pay for the third. Upon assembly of the three, Pat and Al Paschen (founders of Camp-Land) found that the demand outstripped the supply, and soon three more Apache campers were on order. Their Indina RV business quickly flourished. To meet the growing demand the business moved to its Merrillville, Indiana RV location in 1963. In 1998 Camp-Land was again moved, this time to its current Burns Harbor, Indiana RV location.
